Hargrove Plays Key Leadership Role in Relaunch of International Society of Automation (ISA) Mobile-Pensacola “Emerald Coast” Chapter

Hargrove Controls & Automation engineers played a pivotal role in restarting the Emerald Coast chapter of the ISA, with the first meeting taking place on December 8, 2022.

Mobile, AL – December 06, 2022 – Hargrove Controls & Automation, a leading industrial automation system integrator and a subsidiary of global EPC firm Hargrove Engineers & Constructors, today announced the restarting of the Emerald Coast chapter of the International Society of Automation (ISA) after several years of disbandment. The first official meeting is set for December 8, 2022.

HARGROVE PROCESS SAFETY SPECIALIST JOHN BINION TO SERVE ON U.S. TECHNICAL ADVISORY GROUP TO THE INTERNATIONAL IEC DEPENDABILITY STANDARDS COMMITTEE

Hargrove Controls & Automation’s process safety specialist John Binion will serve on the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) TC 56, a technical committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission managed in the U.S by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), with members from across the world to ensure our dependability standards contain the latest techniques and processes to benefit both users and producers.

(Mobile, AL) – Hargrove Controls & Automation, a subsidiary of Hargrove Engineers & Constructors, a global EPC firm and a leading industrial automation system integrator, today announced Controls & Automation Engineer John Binion, P.E., FS Eng (TÜV Rheinland) has been accepted to serve on the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Technical Committee TC 56, which is managed in the U.S. by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

IEC, based out of Geneva, Switzerland, is the world’s leading organization for the preparation and publication of international standards for all electrical, electronic ,and related technologies. The TC 56 committee works on over 60 different published standards focused mainly on dependability and risk management.

“ECIA, as the administrating organization for U.S. participation in the process, operates a US Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to TC 56,” said Vice President, Standards and Technology, Edward F. HARGROVE PARTNERS WITH TECNOCONSULT TO OPEN TECNOHARGROVE IN MONTERREY, MEXICO

(Mobile, AL) – Hargrove has acquired interest in TC North America S.A. de C.V., Tecnoconsult’s Mexican subsidiary, jointly owned with Saldivar Engineering. With the incorporation of a third partner, the company name will change to Tecnohargrove and will continue to be based in Monterrey, Mexico, serving the Mexican market, as well as Tecnoconsult and Hargrove clients in other countries. 

After several years of a close relationship, in which Hargrove Engineers + Constructors has teamed with Tecnoconsult Inc., an engineering company headquartered in Miami, to support projects for US-based clients, both companies have agreed to join forces in a partnership that will ensure top quality as well as world-class engineering and project management services for years to come. Based in Monterrey, Mexico, this office will serve as Hargrove’s 16th full-service operation, and first international base. 

Tecnohargrove will bring together 80 years of combined experience in the successful completion of thousands of projects for the hydrocarbon, petrochemical, power, infrastructure, manufacturing, and industrial sectors, that will provide best-in-class services at the most competitive rates.

HARGROVE FOUNDATION REACHES $2MM GIVING MILESTONE

The Hargrove Foundation has reached a milestone in giving as of spring 2021 – they have now contributed over $2 million dollars to charitable causes across the country! Since inception in 2012, the Hargrove Foundation has been on a mission to support groups and organizations making a difference in the areas of health and human services, education, arts and culture, and qualified sports activities. HARGROVE OPENS NEW OFFICE IN PASADENA, TEXAS

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is excited to announce the expansion of its presence in the Gulf Coast region by opening a new office at 12000 Aerospace Ave., Suite 200 in Houston, Texas. This is Hargrove’s 16th full-service operation, with 15 domestic offices and one international. As Hargrove’s fourth operation in the state of Texas, this office will support Hargrove’s clients in the oil and gas, refining, chemical and manufacturing industries, as well as other industrial sectors in the area.

The 2020 Engineering News Record (ENR) Sourcebook ranking, published in July of 2020, shows Hargrove Engineers + Constructors, holding tight to the #1 spot in the Chemicals sector for the second year in a row, up from a #3 ranking in 2017 and 2018.
